Our first graduate goes from strength to strength

Our first Year 11 student to graduate from School for Inspiring Talents is going from strength to strength, now studying at Exeter College.

Josh, now 17, made a special visit to Place House to say ‘hello’ to staff and students and update them on his progress since leaving school. Having now completed his first year, it was a lovely opportunity to hear about his successful move to further education.

Josh, who is studying for a BTEC in Performing Arts enjoyed seeing familiar faces as he looked around the school and showed staff his latest certificates.

Paul Woodger, Josh’s teacher at School for Inspiring Talents, said: “Being a relatively new school, Josh was our first ever student to finish Year 11. We have supported his transition from our specialist therapeutic setting to a large mainstream College and we’re incredibly proud of how he has adapted and thrived!”

“It has been fantastic to see Josh and we all look forward to keeping in touch as he continues his course.”
