30 Mar Staff duo embark on charity challenge!
It has been a physically challenging month for two members of staff at School for Inspiring Talents who have been busy raising money for special causes.
Nay Pettifer, Learning Support Assistant at the school has been walking 10,000 steps every day in March to fundraise £100 for Cancer Research. This is a significant achievement for Nay, who has fibromyalgia, a long-term condition that causes pain all over the body.
Natalie Rafferty, Pastoral Co-ordinator, has been completing a long distance triathlon throughout the month, raising money for Barnado’s children charity. Natalie has run 42km, cycled 180km and swam 4km, raising £180.00 so far!
A huge well done from all of the School for Inspiring Talents team!
