26 Mar Students’ ‘Give’ theme raises money for Guide Dogs
Students and staff have worked hard over the last term to raise money for a special charity that was chosen by students to benefit from the donations.
A total of £137.55 was collected for Guide Dogs as a result of fundraising activities including a car wash, guess the name of the dog teddy competition, and Christmas craft making.
Lucy Begam, Trauma Recovery Practitioner at the school (pictured) said, “We wanted to organise this fundraising initiative to tie in with our term theme of ‘Give’. Students chose the charity Guide Dogs to receive the money and have done a fantastic job in working together to raise as much as possible. We’re all very proud of them!
